ok. give me a few hours i know how to fix this. it's happened before.
[Sure enough, in a few hours, just before lunch, a new version of the game drops into Phainon's inbox. It's now working well enough to run mostly smoothly barring a few glitches (18), but nothing that crashes the game.]
